- The Camp
Overlooking the vastness of the Maasai Mara plains from the banks of River Talek is an exclusive, intimate yet vibrant Camp of 20 luxuriously appointed riverfront tents.
The camp exudes warm and rich colours of Africa . Fine food, personalised service and traditional African hospitality compliment its beautiful location.
Set on the banks of the Talek River overlooking the Mara plains, Tipilikwani Mara Camp has one of the most spectacular views available. The Maasai Mara is home to the wildebeest migration – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World - as well as to some of the most abundant wildlife populations in Africa!
The 20 luxury tents lure discerning travelers with the cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings they offer. Each en-suite tent is equipped with all amenities and has its own terrace. Two large adjoining tents sharing a common verandah are the ideal setting for families. The ensuite bath-rooms are fitted with hot and cold running water, a flushing toilet and a rain shower.
The dining and lounge area reflects the ambience of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection of a permanent building. The open-sided design affords a unique, magical view across the river to the rolling plains dotted with game. Enjoy an al-fresco breakfast or wind down with a glass of wine at the camp fire watching the spectacular sunset.
Tipilikwani offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere for experiencing the full adventure of the African bush.
