Mara Timbo Camp is situated below the Oloololo escarpment directly in a loop of the Mara River. Mara Timbo Camp offers seven spacious and luxurious tents with tastefully decorated interiors, warm blends of colour and unique furnishings. All materials are natural and from the area. The spacious 45 sqm luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms are all under canvas with grass thatched roofing providing cool temperatures during the day. Every tent stands on a 65 sqm terrace equipped with a cosy sitting area, low beds and a swing. The facilities in the tent include a king-size bed, a safe deposit for your valuables, a bathroom with double sinks, hot and cold shower, flush toilet and 220/240 volt power supply.

The restaurant is spread on three small restaurant-islands which provide most welcome privacy. To bring warmth to the cool Mara evenings, a campfire is lit in front of the islands with sumptuous candlelit dinner. The lounge decor is tasteful with cosy lounge chairs, artworks’ from the locals with a well stocked reference library. The Bar is set centrally in the lounge area with the campfire. The camp operates a gift shop located near the main area.
